Product Overview In collabortaion with MTN Network Solutions, Choice Sourcing Remote Server monitoring service provides a real time view of Server Activity. MTN Network Solutions are the eyes and ears on your world, providing an understanding of capacity utilization, performance and availability of your Server Environment. This enables speedy response to failures and proactive management of capacity to prevent failures. It also provides ITIL aligned inputs to the capacity planning process. Why Choose This Service? A wide spectrum of different skills and disciplines are needed to do monitoring effectively. These include monitoring experts, routing and operating systems experts, infrastructure experts. Including the skills to configure, run and maintain a complex set of technologies incorporated in modern monitoring suites. Doing this on a 7 x 24 basis, is expensive, complex and could become and administration discipline all on it's own. How We Deliver The Service The remote Server Monitoring service can be delivered as a stand-alone service or as part of a complete suite of Infrastructure Management Solutions using the Choice Sourcing Operations Management Architecture (OMA). MTN Network Solutions uses architectures that are inherent in the devices that we monitor, or we instil our own rich architecture into the device to be monitored. By then "Plugging into" the architectures on the devices that are to be monitored, and asking a continual stream of relevant questions we receive the answers which are in turn analysed for action. The answers are also stored in a database for analysis. The GUI onto a customer's infrastructure allows for a complete picture to be presented of the server environment. The architecture has a very light footprint, close to no impact on the Server being monitored.
